The KRPA Public Policy Committee works to monitor legislative and regulatory issues that may impact parks, recreation, and conservation throughout Kansas. The committee serves as a resource for members by promoting awareness of public policy issues, encouraging advocacy, and supporting efforts that strengthen the parks and recreation profession.

Through collaboration with members, partner organizations, and elected officials, the committee helps ensure that the voice of Kansas parks and recreation professionals is represented while promoting policies that benefit communities across the state.
